Mermaid Tears is a collection inspired by the stories our oceans carry.
Its name comes from nurdles, tiny plastic pellets that wash up on beaches around the world. Small enough to go unnoticed, yet a reminder of the impact we leave behind. A single nurdle is attached to every clasp, carrying that story with it.
Each pendant is handcrafted from recycled silver and a unique piece of sea glass, shaped by years of waves, sand and time. Once discarded, these fragments have been transformed into something new.
To me, Mermaid Tears are the tears of a mermaid mourning the changing oceans she calls home, but also a symbol of hope. A reminder that even what is broken or forgotten can find new purpose.
Created to celebrate the beauty of the sea, while never forgetting the responsibility we share to protect it.
